  The WORST customer service from the receptionist. I am guessing that she owns the company and that is the only reason she still has a job. The other personnel at Shalimar Fence were/are great. I have had my fence for less than a year and the gate is sagging. I wrote an email asking if it was still under warranty and they wrote back and told me that it was and that they would send someone out to look at it. A week later I called the office to see if they had me on the schedule and I got berated by the receptionist telling me that she has no control over what "He" does and that all she can do is give him a message. I asked if there was any way to possibly get a heads up the day prior to coming out so that I can put my dog inside and unlock the gate. Again, she very angrily told me that she had no control over "his" schedule. I asked if she could contact him and find out. I was told NO. A week later I write an email explaining that I would be off the next day from work and if possible if someone could come out on that day. No reply. The following day I get 2 phone calls telling me that they are going to be at my house in 15 minutes to replace the gate. I explained to the gentleman that was coming by that my dog was out back and the lock was on the gate and that I could not leave work. He was very kind and understanding. I then by mistake called the other number and got the receptionist again. She began to berate me again about her lack of control and then asked me if my dog was Unapproachable. I explained that I did not want my dog running the streets and that is why I have been trying to reach out to make sure that things were taken care of prior to their arrival. I finally called the first number back and he was very nice about rescheduling for the next day when we could prepare.

  A rip off , go to yelp or better business bureau website and look them up !!!! They installed the wrong size fence, boards are twisted,broken, unlevel not straight Gate sagging and twisted after 1 week First I paid $2,500.+ for a service, to install a wooden privacy fence and I have gotten ripped off. I called 4 times and not one call back. No warranty of product or service -They put in a 6 ft fence and I asked for an 8 foot. -They dug holes for the post and left dirt piles next to fence. worst of all they left mounds of dirt across my property line in neighbors yard,on the other side of fence. I had to go apologizes to neighbors and clean up after shalimar fence. . - They left over 100+ nails in my yard. I had them put a fence up around a driveway so this was a serious issue and if kids are playing in the yard they would possibly get nails in there feet ect. . - boards are not level. boards are broken and split (2x4's). - The gate I paid extra for is sagging and twist one week after installation. I called many times to ask how to fix it or if they would come look at it. even if its something I can do. I paid money for a gate that's not twisted. . Trust me I don't want to have to file a complaint but i'm so upset with the services I received. I dont know what else to do. And too lisa goldsmith above ^^^ with your post. "The best part was we did NO LABOR!" how ridiculous of a statement what do you think you are paying a fencing company for ????? you pay them and you do your own labor.... honestly whats wrong with people.
